We are looking for a collaborative and highly motivated data scientist with experience in deep learning to join Quansight as Senior Data Scientist. You will work on consulting projects where you will design, build, and deploy deep learning models. Candidates are expected to have expert knowledge in Python, PyTorch/TensorFlow, and statistics or applied numerical techniques.

What you’ll do

You will interface with clients and translate their needs into technical solutions. You will analyze data and develop modeling solutions while working on small teams of developers and data scientists. You will assist in reporting and presenting results and demos to clients.

• Proven experience in applying PyTorch (or Tensorflow) to deep learning problems
• 3+ years experience in professional artificial intelligence positions
• Ph.D. or M.S. in STEM field or equivalent experience
• Ability to work on remote Linux systems
• Ability to collaborate and work effectively on small teams of developers and data scientists
• Curiosity and creative problem solving
• Efficient communication skills
• US citizen

Additionally one or more of the following skills will help you stand out:

• Experience building models in NLP
• Experience working with MLOps engineers to transition models to production
• Contributions to open source projects
• Skills in other programming languages, especially C++Prior experience working in a client-facing environment
