Three Part Time (67%) Python Developers (1yr + 1yr + 5 months, all in 2022)

We need new Python programs with their tests and documentation. The programs will be used for the analysis of astronomical data from ground-based telescopes and from space missions.

We offer 2 part-time (67% = 25.5 hours/week) one-year contracts with a salary of 18100 Euro/year, taxes included, and also one part-time (67%) five-months contract.

Holidays: 22 + 7 days per year.

The software developers will be included as co-authors in the publications that use their programs.

Start: January 1st, 2022

Requirements:

  • Candidates should have a good knowledge of Python and should be fluent in spoken and written English.
  • The use of Git is recommended
  • Submit CV
  • Knowledge of Spanish is not a requirement.
  • Previous experience is not a requirement. Eagerness to learn is a plus.
