Job description

A fast-scaling investment platform that allows market novices and newbies to make micro-investments, is looking to hire a Ruby on Rails Engineer. The engineer would be responsible for making innovative suggestions to enhance the platform and improve database connections. The company is focused on creating a safe space that would empower newcomers to find advantageous growth opportunities by utilizing spare change on the basis of their financial goals. The business has managed to raise over $506 in its series F round of funding. The selected candidate would be required to provide a 6-7 hour overlap with the U.S. time zones.

Job Responsibilities:

• Upgrade and enhance existing systems to keep them on par with newer technology

• Collaborate with the Features team to understand system needs

• Streamline the ecosystem by analyzing and upgrading database connections

• Write clean, scalable, and reusable code

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)

• At least 5+ years of relevant experience as a Ruby on Rails Engineer

• Robust experience with Ruby on Rails and PostgreSQL

• Ability to work autonomously with little to no oversight

• Excellent English communication skills
