Full time and Contract Positions available in NYC/Irving(Dallas)/Tampa and Contract (Remote). Candidates will be responsible for designing and building infrastructure APIs for grid computing, data storage and access. They will create frameworks for complex numerical computations along with work in some interesting work in compilers. We use a variety of tools alongside standard Python including NumPy/Pandas, Dask, NumExpr/Numba, ZeroMQ/Redis, MySQL, Clickhouse etc. You do not need financial experience Candidates need to have a strong grasp of computing fundamentals - namely - Data Structures, Algorithms, Operating Systems, Programming Languages. Fluency in Python/Pandas/Numpy and the standard tools of the craft. Experience with web services and Flask/Django ecosystem a plus. Also required is a Bachelors in Computer Engineering/ECE or other Engineering Discipline and an active Github. The Quant Risk Libraries group is creating a computational infrastructure for translating financial models for stress testing and risk management across a variety of asset classes programmatically into runtime. Think of it as Mathematica for Financial Risk meets AWS. Work involves implementing computation models in Python along with infrastructure work around API, grid computing, data storage and access layers, graph computing, etc. <ul>
